WHY WE FILM

We Didn't Start This For An Audience.

We didn't start this to build an audience. We started because we needed active addicts still trapped in the dark to see one thing: recovery is possible, and it doesn't require you to have it all figured out first. It's also why we chose to film instead of staying quiet about it. As recovering addicts, we didn't want accountability partners from within the recovery circle — rehabs encourage that, but too many people in those circles are using in secret from the very people who are supposed to be holding them accountable. So we decided the best accountability partners would be you, the viewers. You'd see us start to look better — physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally — and you wouldn't just witness the progress, you'd help push it forward. In a way, other than God, who is the ultimate architect of our recovery, it's the viewers who gave us the nudge not to fail them, or ourselves.
